Evidence base

Why the app tracks pressure over time

A single correct session is worth less than a maintained specification. Pressure loss is continuous, so the value of the app is the interval between visits.

Permeation is the baseline

Tyres lose pressure continuously through the liner, bead and valve, independent of any damage. That is the loss rate the app models between sessions.2009,2006

Pre-journey prompts follow the load

The same vehicle needs different pressures fully loaded than it does on a commute, because load capacity is tabulated against pressure.2025

Alerts sit below the TPMS threshold

A dashboard warning is a puncture alarm at roughly 20% low. The app deliberately prompts long before that point.2016

The saving is real money

Tread-life and rolling-resistance relationships convert a held specification directly into tyres not bought and energy not burned.2008,2006

Companion app

The record between sessions

The machine handles the ninety seconds. The app handles the month: what changed, what is drifting, and what to do before the next long journey.

Describe the trip before you leave - four up, boot loaded, roof box, motorway - and the app pre-selects the profile so the machine session is a confirmation rather than an interview.

  • QR handoff so the machine already knows the vehicle and load
  • Nearest unit and expected queue before you set off
  • Reminders based on elapsed time and season, not a fixed date

Questions

Straight answers

No. Sessions work without one; the account exists to keep history and receipts.
Only what the driver saves: vehicles, session receipts and reminder preferences.
