Tyre industry partners
The founding seats in the inflation standard
The tyre industry has spent a century measuring its product in laboratories and guessing at how it is run on the road. AiR measures it: every corner, every visit, stamped and signed. The five companies below are the UK businesses best placed to sponsor or invest in that standard while it is still being set, and each seat comes with a livery, a dataset and a category position.

The dataset
What it teaches a tyre business
How your product is actually run, not how it is tested
Every fitted tyre in the equipped estate reports as-found and as-left pressure by corner, with ambient temperature, load context and time since last check. For the first time a manufacturer sees the true inflation distribution its casings live in, by pattern, size, season and region.
Design and compound validation input
Which lines lose pressure fastest, and why
Per-corner leak rate over time separates valve, bead, rim corrosion, puncture and permeation. Trended by SKU and by fitment channel, it becomes a real-world quality signal months before it appears as a warranty claim or a forum thread.
Early quality warning
Mileage to replacement, predicted per vehicle
Tread notes stamped at each verified check produce a wear curve per axle. Across a cohort that curve is a demand forecast: how many units of which size land in which month, in which postcode.
Demand forecasting and stock placement
Evidence that a casing was run correctly
Most goodwill on a tyre claim is paid because nobody can prove how the tyre was run. A stamped inflation history settles the question in both directions: it defends valid claims and it removes unfounded ones.
Warranty and goodwill leakage
Fitment share measured, not surveyed
The unit reads what is on the vehicle at every visit. Brand and pattern mix by region, by vehicle class and over time becomes a measured market share series rather than a purchased panel estimate.
Market intelligence
Label performance versus delivered performance
Correct inflation is the largest single determinant of whether a labelled efficiency rating is delivered on the road. The estate quantifies the gap and, more usefully, quantifies how much of it your product recovers once inflation is fixed.
Regulatory and ESG evidence
The buying trigger, thirty days early
A tread trajectory crossing a threshold is a purchase intent signal with a date on it. Routed with consent, it is the most qualified lead a tyre business can hold, and it arrives before the driver has searched.
Demand capture
The heavier, torquier fleet, measured
EV mass and instant torque change inflation sensitivity and wear rate. The dataset isolates EV cohorts against comparable ICE cohorts on the same patterns, which is exactly the evidence an EV-specific range needs.

The volume objection, answered
The fear: correct pressure sells fewer tyres
It is the first objection every time, and it is worth answering directly rather than avoiding. Correct inflation does extend tread life on the casings that would otherwise wear early and unevenly.
What actually happens to volume
Premature failures are the lowest-margin, highest-cost units in the business: they arrive as emergencies, they are frequently fitted by whoever is nearest, and they carry goodwill and warranty cost. Removing them removes low-quality volume and replaces it with scheduled, branded, forecastable volume.
Where the volume comes back
A verified check every ninety days puts your brand in front of the driver four times a year at the exact moment tread is measured. The replacement moment is known thirty days early, routed to your network, at your margin, instead of to a price comparison search.
The strategic point
The manufacturer that owns the inflation standard owns the measurement of the whole category. Every competitor's product is then assessed on infrastructure you sponsored, against a benchmark you set.
Modelled profit mechanics
Sponsor or invest
Three structures, no purchase order
Founding sponsor
Product supply, co-marketing commitment and named position on the pilot estate. No cash required.
- - Livery on the pilot estate
- - Named in the national index
- - Full dataset access for the equipped cohort
- - Right of first refusal on the sponsor tier at scale
Strategic investor
A capital position in the infrastructure layer alongside a supply and data agreement, taken before the estate is contracted.
- - Board observer seat
- - Preferred fitment status
- - Data licence at internal cost
- - Anti-dilution on the founding round
Deployment joint venture
For partners who already own a fitting or distribution network: contribute sites and engineers instead of cash and take the operating share.
- - 40 percent net revenue share
- - Exclusive category position
- - Co-owned regional estate
- - First access to demand routing
Co-branded marketing
What the programme looks like in market
Sponsored forecourt bay
Your livery on the physical unit at every equipped site, with your pattern recommendation shown on the completion screen after a verified check.
The stamped check card
Every completed check produces a co-branded record the driver keeps. It is the only piece of marketing a tyre brand can hand over that the customer values enough to file.
National inflation index
An annual published national dataset on real-world tyre inflation, authored jointly. Earned media that a media budget cannot buy, and the standard the category then gets measured against.
Fitment network routing
Consented replacement-moment leads routed to your own fitting network or your dealer partners, with the evidence attached so the conversation starts at specification rather than at price.
Motorsport to road
Corner-level pressure management is the most direct honest link between a racing programme and a road customer. This makes the road version of that discipline real rather than rhetorical.
Fleet and lease bundles
A duty-of-care package sold into fleet and lease with your product as the specified fitment and AiR as the compliance layer, priced per vehicle per month.
